This time of year last year, I visited the midwest and came upon some girl scouts selling cookies. I was totally surprised when I asked for my favorite kind and was told that they don’t have Samosas! WHAT?!? But they did have Carmel Delights? Hmmmm will the real girl scout cookie please stand up?
Please support your local girl scouts! This organization really does do alot for girl! And remember always be prepared!
This is my all time favorite time of year for my neighborhood! I live in what is called the “Tenderloin” of San Francisco, California. I have a great apartment that happens to be in a not so great neighborhood. For the most part I like living here, its kind of raw and gritty but it also has its charm and most of the people that reside here have the same “live and let live” type of attitude that I get along with well. On Saturday we embarked on our family walk and I was pleasantly surprised of what time of year it was! My favorite tree in “da hood” has bloomed!!! I’m not sure of what kind of tree or flower it is but I just adore how its beauty is amplified by its surroundings! I love how something so simple like a tree can instantly add elegance to my usually shifty neighborhood. So here are some pictures to hopefully brighten up your day!
