I have a beautiful sister whom we call Bee but pronounced B like the letter ( inside joke! ). Well our baby sister Bee is turning of age (drinking) age next week! And being the greatest sister in the world I made her what I make both my sister every year on their birthdays! I make them a special dress to wear while frolicking around on their birthday! This year I made her two dresses. I could not make up my mind! Both dresses are soo her yet completely different dresses.

The first one I made to pay “homage” to her “rockabilly roots” its a sassy halter top dress in a black and white print that has music notes and instruments, I also added some red fabric to add a little vavavoom.

The second is a more subtle work appropriate wrap dress made out of 50′s inspired purple fabric with roses printed on it. I know she’ll love them both!

In other news I re-joined the Wardrobe Re-fashion Challenge! I did it for 6 months a year and a half ago and it was great! I did awesome in the not buying anything but horrible in the re-fashioning part of it. This time around I hope to do better in re-fashioning.

I wish you were my sister. How totally fabulous to even get one dress for my birthday, made just for me. Of course, I’m probably old enough to be yr mom or more, but, still – adopt me? I love those dresses.
Hey Emy! I talked to Freddy and he told me that you were going to ComicCon
. I guess I’ll see you there on Sunday!
That purple wrap dress is awesome! Is it a commercial pattern, or did you come up with that yourself?
Linda, thanks for the compliments and I would totally adopt you!
TONY! How are your lovely girls!?! Yup, I’ll be at comic con, it should be a lot of fun. We’ll have to meet up for lunch or dinner! Say hi to my cousins for me!
Emm this dress is fantastic!!!!! I can’t wait till my birthday. I’ll take the black and red dress, BUT with a matching hat.. if you will. =) love you
